Yesterday, out of the blue, the lift gate stopped unlocking/opening. I can release it manually from the inside but nothing I do with the remote or door switch will unlock the lift gate. Open a rear door and press the lock button on the remote. Locks chatter, but won't lock because door is open. Go to boot, press button, it opens. I have no idea why this worked for me.
